Program Description: The Library Resident Research fellowships support research in the Society 's collections.

Levels of Study: doctoral candidates at dissertation research stage
Average Award Amount: $2,000 per month
Award Duration: summer or other short-term
Award Deadline: March
Eligibility Requirements: The fellowships, funded by a number of generous benefactors, are open to both U.S. citizens and foreign nationals who are holders of the Ph.D. or the equivalent, Ph.D. candidates who have passed their preliminary examinations, and independent scholars. Applicants in any relevent field of
scholarship may apply. Candidates who live 75 or more miles from Philadelphia will receive some preference. Open to U.S. and non-U.S. citizens.
