Youth4Europe: Past, Present, Future is this years edition of a project aiming to inform and train young people from Europe, especially from South East Europe, about themes such as EU enlargement and accession, the reform process of the countries of South East Europe, European identity and citizenship, federalism, democracy, European thinking, the future of the European Constitution and the sustainable and
effective political work of youth NGOs. This project will also strengthen existing networks between active young people from the region and help create new ones. An additional emphasis of the event is municipal youth policy relating to European citizenship. Trainings for civil servants responsible for municipal youth policy will be realized with the support of the Association of Austrian Municipalities.
Youth4Europe is made up of four interconnected parts and the main activities will run from the 3 – 23 of September. It consists of a one-week international Seminar, a three-week information campaign in 9 Croatian cities, one week of public cultural and political events in Split and a series of workshops for municipal civil servants and members of municipal governments of the Split region.
