International Spring School 2008
from March 31th to April 2nd 2008 in Villigst/Schwerte (near Dortmund)
At the International Spring School 2008, the interdisciplinary DFG Priority Programme "Integration und Desintegraton of Civilisations in Medieval Europe" (SPP 1173) - the first of its kind to take place in Germany for 20 years - will introduce itself to the general public for the first time. Workshops and lectures offer a platform not only for the editors of the projects, but also for young researchers in
mediaeval studies (doctoral and postdoctoral students) to deal with current topics of interdisciplinary and transcultural European research and to present their own projects to a renowned audience of specialists. Outstanding national and international medieval scientists working in different fields of study will provide a highly sophisticated and demanding programme.
