The Environmental Economics and Natural Resources Group of the Department of Social Sciences of Wageningen University is involved in theoretical and applied research looking for solutions of environmental problems and sustainable use of natural resources. For a PhD research project into fisheries management under uncertainty we are looking for an environmental economist.

The research project aims to develop ways to establish sustainable fisheries management strategies that take into consideration the stochasticity of fish stocks as well as the adaptation costs of policies and the fisheries fleet.
