Founded in 1865 in Worcester, Mass., WPI is one of the nation's premier engineering and technology-focused universities. WPI's 18 academic departments offer 36 Master's and 17 Ph.D. degree programs in science, engineering, technology, management, and the social sciences, leading to the MS, ME, MBA and Ph.D. WPI's world-class faculty work with students in a number of cutting-edge research areas, leading to breakthroughs and innovations in such fields as biotechnology, fuel cells, nanotechnology, and information security.

Eligibility Requirements
Must have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT/ 213 CBT/79-80 IBT or IELTS min
band of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0. GRE scores are required for some
departments.
