Bell Labs Antwerp looking for PhDs in machine-to-machine & semantic web

The Services Infrastructure (SI) domain within Bell Laboratories is one of the five domains within Bell Labs and is part of a global organization with groups in New Jersey, Antwerp, Stuttgart and Villarceaux. SI as a whole addresses large scale dissemination of data through the Internet, distributed computing, semantic web and the Internet of things.

The SI department in Antwerp specifically focuses on two sub-areas within the global scope: machine-to-machine communication (i.e., sensor networks) and semantic web (web 3.1415926).

For the Antwerp SI department, we are looking for one or more researchers who have affinity with one or more of the sub-topics, who are articulate, capable of developing and defending technical positions to a diverse audience, are team players capable of supporting a team goal while maintaining an independent research position and can think laterally.
