Content and aim
The main challenge of our world today is to learn living together and in harmony
with our environment on a planet where resources and space are limited. To meet this challenge it is important to discuss a global vision of the "world" in which we want to live thinking in the long-term and acting responsibly.
According
to this the international Training Course in Kljuc (Bosnia-Herzegovina ) with the
title "Reminding our nature, joining the adventure: outdoor activities in
European youth work" will bring together young people, project workers, peers and facilitators who belong to different NGO´s, youth clubs, ecological initiatives and other associations working with youth. The TC will motivate and qualify the participants by various activities on the topic "Outdoors activities and environmental education" how to implement an international youth project including all stages of planning, preparation, methodology, project implementation and evaluation focusing on environmental education through outdoors activities. Although the TC is based on outdoor and environmental education all methods and techniques will be adaptable to the participant´s situation and environment. Emphasis of the TC is to discuss and discover the interaction of outdoors activities and environment education, to develop environmental sensitivity in outdoor activities and to illustrate practical and theoretical experiences with environmental education."
