"Nice to meet you" Partnership Building Activity

Where: Baile Herculane resort, Romania
Participants: 26 (2 from each organization)
Eligible countries: EU countries + Albania, Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan.
The Objectives of the program are the following:
1. To give the participants belonging to associations from EU, Balkan and EECA the possibility to meet and reflect on common issues regarding human rights and intercultural dialog
2. To discuss and set up the base for future projects within Youth in Action framework, during 2010
3. To create the conditions for new partnerships in the field of human rights, ethnic relations and intercultural dialog
4. To provide the participants the necessary tools in order to develop future projects within Youth in Action (to present the program, technical aspects necessary for writing and implementing a YiA project)
We divided the activity in 4 sections: Youth in Action presentation and project management, Intercultural dialog, Human rights, creation and presentation of future projects. We would like to emphasize that there will be a lot of fun and nice time but there we will also work and we will do our best during the activity to see concrete drafts of projects in the field of Human rights and Intercultural dialog, to be developed until end of 2010.
Requirements:
- satisfactory level of English (everybody should understand easy everybody)
- clear commitment to get involved and create future projects until end of 2010
- "mandate" from your association, that is you are able to make future projects home, until the end of 2010
- to be interested and have a minimum of experience in Human Rights and Intercultural dialog issues
- to bring nice ideas and good vibration
Financial conditions:
Meals and accommodation will be supported by organizers. We will reimburse 70% of the cheapest means of transport (based on tickets, from your city to Romania and back).
There is no participation fee.
