Centre d'Etudes europeennes at Sciences Po
Missions:
The position opened by Sciences Po will strengthen the research capacities of the Centre d'Etudes europeennes, especially in the domain of the analysis of the dynamics and impacts of the process of European integration and of the Europeanisation of policical systems and public policies.
Research:
We will consider candidates whose research interests are relative to one of the following domains:
- the interaction between national and European public policies and comparative policies,
- the political evolutions of European societies linked to the process of European integration.
The successful candidate will also contribute to the international academic position of the institution, notably by acting as a lead participant in competitive research programmes funded by national and European calls.
Teaching:
The successful candidate will teach within the Master of European Affairs at Sciences Po, but also in the Master of Public Affairs and at the undergraduate level (preferably in English). He/She will also supervise high-level PhD theses and participate to the integration of Sciences Po PhD candidates in the international academic community.
Application requirements:
Candidates should hold a PhD in social sciences. They should demonstrate potential for conducting outstanding comparative research. International (possibly outside of the EU) teaching and/or research experience will be favoured.
All applicants should have a high-level publication record. A good level of French and English will be a plus.
Status: Professor or assistant-professor, depending on the candidates experience.
