These nine grants will be covered by the European Commission funds and students will be enrolled under a three year employment contract, leading to the acknowledgement of a joint or a double PhD title recognized by ICE partner universities which are:
Eindhoven University of Technology – TUE (The Netherlands)
Queen Mary, University of London - QMUL(United Kingdom)
Università degli Studi di Genova – UNIGE (Italy)
Universitaet Klagenfurt – UNIKLU (Austria)
Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya – UPC (Spain)
PhD projects are offered in the areas of
- assistive technologies (UPC),
- improving quality of life (TUE),
- network embedded systems (UNIKLU),
- multi-sensor surveillance (QMUL), and
- people inspired technologies (UNIGE).
