Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic in collaboration with University of Lower Silesia, Wroclaw, Poland is pleased to announce a workshop for European junior researchers
*What counts in educational research? Quantitative and qualitative explanations of educational inequalities. *
The seminar will be based on discussion and will promote reflexive accounts on the advantages and disadvantages of working with qualitative and quantitative methodologies and on the reasons of their persistent (although undesirable) divide. The workshop will be facilitated by two distinguished European speakers Francesca Gobbo (Torino University) and Sin Yin Cheung (Oxford Brookes University).

Application:
Participants who will be presenting a paper will be given priority. Abstracts should contain no more than 600 words. Deadline for application: March 23, 2007.
