Analyst or Associate Analyst, Central and South-eastern Europe, Global Risk Analysis London

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Associate Analyst or Analyst for Central and South-eastern Europe in our London-based Global Risk Analysis (GRA) department. The analyst will provide our clients with analysis and advice on political, operational and security developments in the region through consultancy projects and Control Risks' subscription and retainer services. Travel to the
region may be required.

You should be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of political, operational and security risk issues in the region. First-hand experience of the region, strong local contacts and a master's degree in regional or other relevant studies are essential. Proficiency in one or more languages of the region is desired, ideally Hungarian, Czech/Slovak and/or Polish. Familiarity with the functioning of financial markets and macroeconomic trends would be an advantage, as well as experience with business-focused research and political analysis. The position requires the ability to write clearly, concisely and authoritatively to tight deadlines, as well as excellent formal presentation skills.
