CfA: POLNET Summer School on the Analysis of Political and Managerial Networks

We are pleased to announce the 10th POLNET Summer School on the Analysis of Political and Managerial Networks. It will take place from 20-25 June 2010 at the New Castle in Meersburg at Lake Constance, Germany. The summer school provides a sound introduction to social network analysis. It is intended for PhD and MA students as well as researchers interested in theory-driven empirical research on networks in politics, organizations, and management. Lectures are complemented by computer labs sessions introducing UCINET and visone.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of POLNET, alumni of the summer school are invited to present their network-related research at a special symposium on "Networks in Political and Organizational Life: Concepts and Applications" , which will be held on 24/25 June. This offers participants additional opportunities to learn about applications of network analysis, to meet researchers in the field, and to learn from their experience. Deadline for applications: 31 March 2010 (limited number of participants)
