USA: International Student Scholarships Available at East Tennessee State University

In an effort to increase international student enrollment and increase diversity on campus, East Tennessee State University introduced a merit scholarship specifically for international students. Titled the "International Students Academic Merit Scholarship," the award covers 50% of tuition for international students.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be admitted as full-time students (undergraduate or graduate) and must have a demonstrated record of academic achievement. Applications are being accepted for the fall 2010 semester. Students who wish to receive the scholarship for the fall 2010 term must submit completed applications by *June 1st*. Students can apply online at www.etsu.edu/iss.
