internship : Amman Center for Human Rights Studies

Dear colleagues,

Amman Center for Human Rights Studies, a Jordanian human rights non-governmental organization (www.achrs.org), is looking for interns who could come for 6 months participate in our work.

The intern's tasks would include updating and expanding our organization's websites (main website, and three thematic websites on elections; terrorism and human rights; and democratization); editing and publishing of the organization's newsletter; participating in the work of the international relations unit (contacting other organizations for potential cooperation, donors, etc.) and other tasks as specified.
Interns should be interested in human rights issues in the Middle East. They should be fluent in English; other languages, including Arabic and French are welcomed.
An internship could also be arranged part-time, to give possibility for a part-time learning of Arabic in a university in Amman. However, due to limited resources, ACHRS cannot fund interns, and they should find their own source of funding.

Regards,
ACHRS International Relations Unit
