Research Masters in Ethics in social sciences (Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland)

Project Title: The Design of Multimedia-Based Instruction to Support the Academic and Social Development of Children with Autism

The overall objectives of this project are: (a) to investigate the role and accessibility of educational software in the education of learners with autism, (b) to evaluate the current use of that software and (c) to devise an instructional systems design framework that aims to improve the �educational fit� of instructional software to the special needs and learning styles of this learner.

Maximum available for post graduate fees under this grant is �5000 for the two years. Current EU fees are �2100 per annum and current Non-EU fees are �4550 per annum. Funding is also available for travel, materials and equipment associated with the research to be undertaken.
