The Mannheim Research Institute for the Economics of Aging (MEA) is searching for a graduate level academic researcher for its Research Unit "Macroeconomics" . MEA was founded to help evaluate, anticipate and accompany the micro- and macroeconomic aspects of demographic change. Among the aims of the research unit is to develop and administer macroeconomic simulation models that help to predict these developments.
Future research will have a strong focus on various risk aspects involved.

Besides profound knowledge in macroeconomics, strong interest in quantitative methods, numerical techniques and economic applications is required. The completion of a Ph.D. thesis is expected and will be supported.
