European Commission Scholarship Programme in Human Rights Practice

There are 2 programmes available, Special
Education Needs (Inclusive Education) and Human Rights Practice. There are also 2 types of scholarships available -- one for Masters programmes and one for Research.

Roehampton University, London, UK is running two scholarship programmes in collaboration with their European partner universities and the European Commission.

The scholarships are funded by the European Commission for non-European students and researchers. There are 12 general scholarships (any non-European country) and specific scholarships for Indian (7), Chinese (2), Thai (1) and other Asia students (3) (except Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore).

The MA in Special Needs is a one year programme run at Roehampton, Fontys in Holland and Charles University in the Czech Republic. Students receive a scholarship of approx USD 30,000. Scholars/researcher s receive scholarships for 3 months for approx USD 16,000. Deadline for application 15th December 2006 The MA in Human Rights is a two year programme run at Roehampton, Goteborgs in Sweden and Tromso in Norway. Students receive a scholarship of approx USD 50,000. Scholars/researcher s receive scholarships for 3 months for approx USD 16,000. Deadline for application 15th January 2007.
