This year Lawrence counts 166 international students (out of a total student population of 1400) representing 47 countries among our student body, making Lawrence University one of the most diverse small colleges in the United States. In addition to these students, we also have a number of U.S. expatriates at Lawrence.
As you know, Lawrence has made a commitment to internationalism in a number of ways, one of which is through financial aid for international students. We provide substantial merit and need-based aid to a majority of our international students. We award scholarships that range in value from $7,000 USD to full-tuition, and we base our evaluation on a combination of academic merit, country of origin, and financial need.
I invite you to take a tour of the Lawrence campus through our Video Tour online at: http://www.lawrence .edu/admissions/ about/videotour. shtml
