Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship
2008-2009

The Department of English at the University of Southern California invites applications for a Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellowship for the 2008-2009 academic year. The field of specialization is Native American literature with a possible emphasis in Early American literature. The Fellow will be expected to teach one course each semester in the English major program.

The Fellow must have a Ph.D. in hand by the beginning of the appointment.

Applicants should send an application letter, CV, a brief description of dissertation and current research. In addition, applicants should request that a dossier or three letters of recommendation be sent by the deadline of May 1, 2008. Send all materials to Bruce R.
