St. Cloud State is the largest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, with 17,686 students. SCSU located about an hour northwest of Minneapolis and St. Paul (our Capital) along the oak-crowned west bank of the Mississippi River.
Academically, St. Cloud State is one of the most highly accredited universities in the upper Midwest. The G.R. Herberger College of Business is one of a distinguished group of business schools that has been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) international. Within the state of Minnesota, SCSU is one of only three business programs that is accredited by the AACSB International at both the undergraduate and graduate (MBA) level.
St. Cloud State's ranking in the 2011 edition of Best Colleges is Regional Universities (Midwest) was 81 by U.S News and World Report. We were also ranked tenth in the top 40 Master's institutions for International students by Institute of International Education (Open Doors Review, 2009).
St. Cloud State University also has a nationally recognized Honors Program, where students enjoy small, intellectually challenging classes with professors who believe in teaching first. On-campus students enjoy all of the perks offered by larger institutions but in a safe and
