Details This is a training offer for those who would like to know more about the concept of intercultural learning as an educational approach for Youth Exchanges, activities within the European Voluntary Service or within Support Measures within the context of the YOUTH programme. Many youth leaders have already had significant intercultural experiences themselves, but have difficulties to put intercultural learning as a planned and structured process into practice and into projects.
This is where this training course comes in: Starting from the experiences of the participants, we will actively deal with elements of this concept during the training course through experiential learning. We will focus on aspects of social attitudes, modes of perception, and the resulting behaviour, because they are determinant elements of any process of intercultural communication and interaction. The active involvement of participants will be an integral part of the entire learning process.

Accordingly, we will deal with conditions for intercultural learning and we will reflect on culture and cultural identity. Further on, we will work on competences that young people and youth workers need to develop to be interculturally competent. Costs No participation fee, board and lodging are free. Travel costs will be reimbursed at 100% by the sending or hosting NA on the basis of the cheapest possibilities upon presentation of the original tickets.
