International Seminar "Today's Young Adulds In the European Society of Tomorrow"

Romanian Society for Lifelong Learning has the pleasure to invite you on 22nd September 2006 to the international seminar "TODAY'S YOUNG ADULTS IN THE EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF TOMORROW", seminar which is co-financed by the European Union within the program Socrates Grundtvig 1, 114170-CP-1-2004-RO-GRUNDTVIG-G1.

*The themes of the seminar will be: *

5. The importance of information in overcoming the educational barriers for the disadvantaged young people

6. The use of information technology for educating the marginalized young people

7. Strategies to motivate the young people in view of their participation to continuous education

8. New methods and tools for training the young people with special needs

We look forward to your sharing with us your experiences in working with the young by presenting papers on these themes. The papers can vary from presentations of projects in the field, case studies, reports, researchers, etc.

The international character of the seminar can represent for you a good opportunity to disseminate the projects you are currently working on, as well as to establish new contacts with organizations working in the field in the country and abroad.

*Due to the limited number of places, we will accept only the participants with papers that fit the proposed themes. *

*The papers must be sent both in Romanian and in English. *

The special guests of the event will be the representatives of the National Agency for Community Programs in Education and Training (Agentia Nationala pentru Programe Comunitare in Domeniul Educatiei si Formarii Profesionale).

All the materials presented will be found on the CD of the seminar that each of you will receive during the event.

*The deadline for registering is 1st September 2006 and for sending the final version of the papers 10th September 2006.*
