Schiller International University (SIU), located in Dunedin, Florida offers a unique practical training program in which international students are allowed to work in Full Time Employment in American companies while studying for their master degrees.
This program (sometimes known as a "co-op" or "internship" program) is available at Schiller in Master's of Business Administration in the following concentrations
a.. Hotel and Tourism Management
b.. International Business
c.. Information Technology
Full time paid employment
All applicants who choose the co-op option will be required to be employed in Curricular Practical Training working with an American company in the Clearwater-Tampa- St. Petersburg metropolitan area. All wages are paid to the students directly by the employer at standard employment rates equal to wages paid to American employees. The wage per hour will be based on the type of employment selected by the student and according to the skill level of each student. Internship jobs can be part-time (about 20 hours per week) or full-time (40 hours per week), as the student may choose.
Flexible work and study schedule
Classes are offered on week days, evenings and week-ends to accommodate the various work schedules of the students. A unique feature of this opportunity is that SIU's graduate co-op international students may begin their employment from the start of the first semester of their studies; they do not need to wait for an academic year in order to become employed

SIU's co-op educational system is uniquely designed to combine knowledge learned in the class room setting with knowledge acquired from "hands-on" practical work experience in American companies. Upon graduation from the MBA program co-op program all students will have valuable work experience in American companies in addition to their Master’s degree.
