The Objective of NordSecMob Programme
The objective of the NorSecMob programme is to enable students to acquire profound and wide knowledge in the field of computer science, data security and mobile computing, both in practice and in theory. The programme aims at developing the skills of the students to support successful employment both in industry and academia. Typical industrial positions include working in an expert position, research and R&D. The programme aims at developing the research skills of students to further studies at the PhD-level, gaining international research experience in R&D environments and give an access to major international networks.
joint study programme in data security and mobile computing
Nordic countries have been very innovative in mobile communication.
The first regional cellural network started there giving the telecom industry a very good starting point to the second and third generation networks and devides.
They were pioneers in large scale internet-usage in Europe.
The biggest on-line banking system in the world has covered the area of scandinavia ten years.
A broadband Internet-connection is assumed as a public service.
The research and development activities covering security and mobile computing have created a leading industrial and scientific cluster in the Nordic countries. The participating universities are leading part of this cluster in their own countries in the scientific side.
