The Fraunhofer CNT, a Public-Private Partnership with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Qimonda (former DRAM division of Infineon Technologies) as Industry Partner is offering the following positions:
Ph.D. – Positions:
- Development of Atomprobe Technology for Nanoelectronic Technologies
- Development and Evaluation of Ultra Thin Hf based highK Gate Dielectric Layers
- Process development at shaped beam electron beam lithography tool
- Development of new models of Proximity Effect correction for electron beam lithography
PostDoc – Positions:
- Development of next generation etch processes
- Expert for Nanostructuring and Electron Beam Lithography
- Structural development and characterization of next generation flash devices
As Public Private Partnership the Fraunhofer CNT combines the best opportunities from public research and industry research. As leading research organisation for applied research in Europe Fraunhofer offers best work conditions, freedom of research and a broad spectrum of further education. Our industry partners are both world leading semiconductor manufacturer with production sites as well as research centers next door to Fraunhofer CNT in Dresden. As Fraunhofer employee you will also be integrated in a research & development team of Qimonda or AMD. Ph.D. positions will be supervised on a day-to-day basis by engineers/scientist s from our industry partner.
Start date range for CNT positions: 11/2007 – 01/2008
Duration: 2 years contract, extension of 1 year envisaged
Salary scheme: TVOED; group 13
Ph.D.: graded system, start 50% upgrade until 100%
PostDoc: 100%
