Courses are taught in English and are structured according to the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) with 120 credits for the two years. Students will also undertake courses on the culture and language of the visited European countries. At the end of the QEM Erasmus Mundus Masters, a Masters Dissertation will be prepared on a research topic, under the joint supervision of the two Universities where the specialization is made. At the successful completion of the QEM Erasmus Mundus Masters, students will be awarded a double degree from the two degree-granting Universities : Màster en Economia Quantitativa (Barcelona), Master of Science Wirtschaftsmathematik (Bielefeld), Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies (Paris), Laurea Specialistica in Economia (Venice).

Admission : The QEM Erasmus Mundus Masters is intended for top level international students. Admission in the QEM Erasmus Mundus Masters is based on academic excellence. Applicants should have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent, strong interest and/or previous studies in Economics, undergraduate training in mathematics (or related backgrounds such as engineering), and a fluent knowledge in spoken and written English.
