Months before launching the journal a study about the indispensability and eventual support of such an edition was carried out. The results were encouraging and stimulating. Many people responded to our Call for Expression of Interest,

They all expressed their willingness to serve as refereees and/or members of the BJSEP Editorial/Advisory Board or to support the journal as active authors.
Volume 2 (2008) of BJSEP will appear in two numbers in March and September. It is time to establish an Editorial Board of the journal. With the present message I kindly invite the colleagues who would desire to become members of the Editorial Board of BJSEP to confirm it, applying a short CV, mentioning their experience in such an activity. It is expected the Book Review Editor to be capable of directing books for reviewing in BJSEP. As the usual practice in scholarly publishing is, all these positions are on a voluntary basis. The Founding Committee of BJSEP will take a decision concerning the Editorial/Advisory Board of the journal after a careful consideration of all applications.
