Vacancy: M.S. and Ph.D. students at Indiana Univ (USA)

The Atmospheric Science Program and Human-Environment Interactions Program in the Department of Geography at Indiana University are accepting applications for M.S. and Ph.D. students with interests in the following (faculty contacts for these areas are provided):

(i) Climate downscaling and analysis of historical climate variability at the regional, continental, and global scales (Pryor, Robeson)

(ii) Biogeochemical cycling – specifically atmosphere-surface exchange with foci on carbon, energy, water and particles (Barthelmie, Brown, Dragoni, Pryor, Rahman)

(iii) Sustainable energy systems with a focus on wind energy (Barthelmie, Pryor)

The Department has excellent facilities for experimental research including an AmeriFlux tower. We also have extensive expertise and world-class computational resources for research in remote sensing, GIS, and spatial statistics. For more about the faculty, programs, and facilities see
