Scholarship Opportunity- -Summer Institute in the Netherlands

The Dutch government is providing full scholarships for participation in the following courses to a number of students from the global south. We are trying to spread the word about this opportunity before the deadline, February 2008.

We are pleased to announce the following scholarship opportunity:
Students from specific countries can apply for a scholarship to attend the 12th annual Summer Institute on Sexuality, Culture and Society to be held at the International School for Humanities and Social Sciences, Universiteit van Amsterdam from July 6 - August 2, 2008. Scholarships are also available for the 2nd annual Summer Institute on Alcohol, Drugs and Addiction to be held at the International School from July 13 - July 25, 2008. Scholarships are provided through the NUFFIC Fellowships for Short Courses 2008: see http://www.nuffic. nl/nfp

*Please note that the deadline for the Nuffic scholarship is February 1, 2008. Nuffic applicants must first apply to the Summer Institute and be accepted before they can apply for the Nuffic scholarship. The normal application fee is waived for Nuffic candidates.
