CfA: International Symposium on Molecular Pathogenesis

Dear Colleagues,

School of Pharmacy of ITB is going to hold the First International Symposium On Molecular Pathogenesis: "Recent Advances on Molecular Pathogenesis and Applications to Pharmaceutical Product Development" . The symposium will be held in January 15th, 2008 in ITB-Bandung. This International Symposium is held in conjunction with research collaboration beetween ITB and University of Groningen,The Netherlands. The Symposium focuses on the current status and on the future of molecular pathogenesis as well as new strategies for molecular pathogenesis- based therapies, as they are developed from basic research in microbial and cancer pathogenesis to be applied in infectious and cancer treatments.

There will be several excellent and well known speakers from overseas universities (NUS, University of Groningen, etc.) in this symposium. These speakers will share their expertise and their experience about recent development on molecular pathogenesis. The topics are about nanotechnology for cancer treatment-that will be presented by well known scientist, Prof. Shi Sen Feng from National University of Singapore-, quorum sensing, molecular farming, protein secretion system, vaccine development, synthetic genes, and many more interesting topics.

Addition to the symposium, there will be post symposium workshop: "Synthetic Genes and Their Uses for Various Applications" .
