The graduate research group "European Identities and Encounters" would like to invite you to attend the international graduate conference "Complexities of Europe: Between Power, Knowledge, Citizenship and Identity" which will take place at the Centre for Research in the Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH), University of Cambridge, UK, on the 20th and 21st of November 2009.
Key-note lectures will be given by Gerard Delanty, Professor of Sociology, Social & Political Thought and head of the Sociology Department at the University of Sussex, and Henk van Houtum, head of the Nijmegen Centre for Border Research, Radboud University Nijmegen, while 21 scholars from academic institutions all across the continent will present their papers in six thematic panels.

Attendance through registration is open to all, but since places are limited an on-line registration is required before the 12th of November.
Registration fee is ₤25 (institutional fee) and ₤15 (reduced student fee) which will cover tea-coffees and two finger-food lunches.
