We are seeking highly qualified PhD-candidates for the topic "The international forest regime as driver for sustainable national forest policies". Key questions of the project could address (i) the manifestation of international forest-related commitments in national policy, (ii) the role of national administrations in the implementation of such commitments and (iii) options for strengthening their future impact. Applicants should hold a degree in forestry with an emphasis on social sciences or a degree in political science and interest in forest-related national and international policy (e.g. forestry, climate or biodiversity policy).
