Description:
Several postdoctoral positions are available for recent PhD graduates with experience in:

1. Cardiac cell and tissue culture
2. Neural cell and tissue culture
3. Optical mapping of electrophysiologica l signaling
4. Stem cell biology with a focus in cardiac progenitors
5. Techniques to probe cell mechanics, including atomic and traction force microscopies, magnetic tweezers, and cell stretchers
6. A broad expertise in molecular biology. Potential projects will be discussed with the most competitive applicants.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in engineering or physics and appropriate experience. Successful applicants will have two or more first author, peer-reviewed publications. Funding agencies require that for some of these positions, US citizenship or permanent resident visa status is prerequisite for hiring.
