Scholarships for students and scholars from Eastern Europe

The Bavarian State Ministry for Science, Research and Arts awards for the academic year 2010/11 is expected once again one-year scholarships to graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Hungary. The scholarships are meant to finance doctoral, postgraduate or post-graduate studies at a Bavarian university. It is initially granted for one year and may be extended (to a total of three years) at the request up to two times.

The stipend is paid in twelve installments each year 8400, 00 Euro (700.00 Euro per month). Single parents or persons with a non-working spouse and at least one child may receive an amount of 10,320.00 euros (860,00 Euro per month) receive.
