2nd ECTP Plenary Meeting - 21 - 22 November 2006 - Session 8

Dear Colleagues,

As you surely know from earlier communications, the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the ECTP is taking place on 21st - 22nd November in Versailles. In particular, this event is offering ample opportunities for networking for those interested to get involved in RTD proposals to be introduced in 2007 in the framework of FP7 and Eureka.

If you are specifically interested to learn more about the opportunities for SME's to get involved in such research action, we would highly recommend to participate in Session 8 http://www.bbri. be/download/ ectp/ectp_ session8. pdf , which is due to
take place on Wednesday 22nd November from 11.15 to 13.00.

This session will indeed concentrate on the specific instruments available to SME's and in particular also on the thematic objective 4.4.6 "Innovative added-value construction product-services" which is expected to be included in the first NMP call due to be launched at the end of this year (cfr. provisional call text
http://www.bbri. be/download/ ectp/446. doc .

Those interested to participate are urged, if they have not done yet, to register for the conference at http://www.ectp. org/plenary. asp indicating session 8 as one of the sessions they would like to attend.

Furthermore (registered) participants interested to share their ideas with others at the occasion of this brokerage event are kindly asked to send the completed form
to martine.merck@ bbri.be at the latest by 17th November.

In order to allow for the best synergy between participants, it is of utmost importance to complete and return this form in due time as the information you will provide will be used to organize face to face meetings with colleagues who might have similar interests. We would appreciate to receive at least a tentative project title and a short 10 lines description of the objectives.

Looking forward to meeting you in Versailles.

On behalf of the ECTP SME Advisory Group
