The Nationalism Studies Program – Call for applications for MA and PhD studies Institution/ Organiser: Central European University
Duration: The academic year is divided into an Orientation, two semesters and a Spring Session.

Topics: The program offers students an MA degree accredited by the Board of Regents of the State of New York. The program also offers a PhD degree in the framework of a joint History-Nationalism PhD track in collaboration with CEU's History Department. In addition, the program’s MA graduates may apply to the PhD program in Political Science based on a special agreement between the two units. Graduate students enrolled in PhD programs at universities outside CEU and who wish to utilize CEU's innovative programs and resources to assist the development of their dissertations can apply for the Doctoral Support Program.
Eligibility: For Master’s programs: Applicants must have earned a first degree from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn their first degree from such an institution by the time of enrolling in a CEU Master's program. Normally CEU accepts students who have completed four years of undergraduate university studies. For Doctoral Programs: Applicants must have earned a Master's degree or equivalent in a related field from a recognized university or institution of higher education, or provide documentation indicating that they will earn such a degree by the time of enrolling in a CEU doctoral course of study.
Deadline: For the Academic Year 2007/2008 the deadline of the application is January 5, 2007.
