Dear Sir/ Madam,

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the upcoming 6th edition of the International Symposium "Ideologies, values and political behaviors in Central and Eastern Europe" that will take place between 8th and 9th of December 2006 at West University of Timisoara, Romania. The symposium aims at gathering together in a
working and sharing environment, scholars and researches on politics in Central and Eastern Europe. During the previous editions we had honorable guests and participants and valuable panels and papers that generated the publishing of the Political Science Forum edited by our department. This year, during the symposium, our department will have the honor to confer the title of Doctor Honoris Causa upon Professor David Robertson of St Hugh's College, Oxford University.

We also welcome paper proposal from scholars and researches on political topics in Central and Eastern Europe. The proposal should be no longer than one page and should be sent until the 20th of November 2006. Selected presentations will be published in a forthcoming volume on the topic of the symposium. Selected
participants should send the full presentation by 4th of December 2006. There is no participation fee. The organizers cannot cover the costs for accommodation, meals and travel; therefore we recommend applying at your university for such funds. We can support you with hotel reservations and other practicalities. All selected
participants will be informed before 17th of November. The application should include the proposal for presentation together with Curriculum Vitae.
