AIMS OF THE PROJECT:
1. To develop students ‘ own creativity .
2. To encourage learners be actively involved in learning situation by developing their creativity .
3. Exchange project partners’ cultural peculiarities.
4. Break the barriers between adults and children .
5. To remind learners producing not consuming.
6. To develop students’ creativity having them produce their own toys.
7. To develop students’ imagination.
8. To teach and remind children about their own traditions.
9. Creation of teaching instrument, innovative teaching methodology, exchange best
practice examples encouraging intercultural intercourse.
10. Discuss and distinguish national, regional, social affinities and differences of
participating countries
ACTIVITIES:
1. Presentation of project partners’ regions and countries.
2. Teaching how to make hand-made objects and toys to the students.
3. Making short films
4. Publishing a common booklet of handmade toys produced by the participant
countries.
5. Designing a web page about the activities of the Project.
6. Exhibition of the products in every participant countries with local and national level.
7. Project meetings in different locations.
8. Teaching language.
DESCRIPTION :
The Project is designed for the students from primary and secondary school and teachers teaching technology and design lessons in order to develop students’ imagination. Thorough the proposed activities the students will be able to have the knowledge about their traditions and find useful way of idea about imagination and designing.This Project is just like going back to the past in order to remember how hand –made or industrial products first occured. This Project has pedagogical valueemerging students’ imagination. When students search traditional objects an deven when they are playing games they will use their owm creativity as their elders.
The Project focuses on the hand –made toys which reflect art ,culture,and social
life.This Project arouse adults’ infantility while they are khowing ,counselling ,teaching the details of hand – made toys.When students learn their traditional hand –made toys , they get their own creativity, they find tthe activity enjoyable.Their creativity and imagination will be see in every aspects of their life; both at school and in daily life.
