Research Officer/Assistant in Malaysia University of Science

Dear friends and colleagues,

Research Assistants in wireless network teletraffic analysis

Two challenging Research Assistant (RA) positions are available within the Information Technology Department of the Malaysia University of Science and Technology (http://www.must. edu.my ).

The duration of this project is 12-18 months. We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:
- Position one: at least a second class upper honours degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines.
- Position two: at least a Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines.
- Strong analytical/mathemat ical ability.
- Experience or knowledge in the following fields will also be advantageous: PDEs (partial differential equations), queuing theory, etc.
- The successful candidate should be able to work independently and creatively and be comfortable reading and writing in English.
