On behalf of the Organizing committee I am pleased to present this announcement regarding the Conference entitled “The Role of Shushi in the Armenian History”, to take place on 20-25 June 2006.
Among the issues to be presented and discussed particular emphasis will be put over:
The contribution of Shushi to Armenian history
The history of Shushi
Shushi as Cultural Center
Shushi during the liberation movement

The deadline for submission of the abstracts is 10 March 2007. Selection results to be announced in April. The abstracts should be send by e-mail to the following addresses: tsolak@ysu.am Shushi2007@ysu. am
The abstracts must be presented using Times New Roman for English and Russian and ArTarumian Times for Armenian, 12 font, 1,5 space and should be 300-500 words.
Conference languages are Armenian, English, Russian.
