School PhD Studentships, School of Humanities

School PhD Studentships are available for research study in the Departments of Archaeology, Art History, Classics, Music, Philosophy, and Theology and Religious Studies in September 2007. The studentships, for new research students classed as UK/EU for the purpose of fees, cover the payment of tuition fees and a maintenance grant each year for a maximum of three years of full-time doctoral study (subject to evidence of satisfactory progress). The maintenance grant will be approximately £12,500 and will rise in line with national levels set by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).

Closing date: 3 May 2007. Students will be notified w/c 4 June 2007. These studentships cannot be deferred. Students are normally required to apply through The University of Nottingham for funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
