INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR OF THEATRE
"THE ENCHANTED MOUNTAIN"
Santa Libera, August 30th - September 8th 2008
Addressed to theatre people, but also to whom has personal interest in Art, to whom feels the needing to live an artistic dimension of himself, of the relationship with others and of the reality in absolute.
- OBJECTIVES
- To give to participants the knowledge and experience about the process of Personal
Development necessary to be able to operate with depth, sensibility and adequate
knowledge in artistic and theatrical field.
- To define and apply a new Role of Artist (and Actor) in his different manifestations (Ethos, Pathos, Logos) in his relation with actual Reality.
- To define and apply the principals and the potentiality of Art and Theatre as instrument of growing of Human Being, apart from his professional activity.
- CONTENTS
- Theoretic and practical process on different phases of Personal Development: Listening, Thought and Mental Landscapes, Energy, Knowledge, Emotions, Expressive Languages, Creativity.
- Experiences and works addressed to the assimilation and development of a new way to be Artist.
The Behaviour of the Artist (Ethos): sacredness, rituality, sensibility, intention and action.
Control and employment of Emotions (Pathos). Positive Emotion and Negative Emotion.
The Language of the Artist (Logos): Fantasy, Imagination, Poetry, Risk, Courage, Unpredictability, Irrationality.
- Experience of daily life, in common and individually, in which the principals of
Personal Development are applied.
- THE SPACE
The seminar takes place in the Centre of Human and Artistic Research of Santa Libera. A big country house, immersed in the Nature, where life and work happen outdoor, in the nature, and indoor, in a theatrical space. There is also a Library room in which to carry the work of study.
- COSTS, PARTICIPANTS AND APPLICATION
The cost of participation to the seminar is € ¦’ 400, comprehensive of board and lodging in rooms with three/four beds.
Minimum of participants: 8. Maximum: 12.
