A postdoctoral associate position in the area of ultrasound image analysis is immediately available in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). HKUST is a young and highly dynamic university. It offers a very stimulating environment for rigorous research. The campus locates at the beautiful Clear Water Bay and provides superb conditions for comfortable living. The initial appointment is for one year. Extension is possible and will be made based on mutual agreement. The position is open until filled. Qualifications:
Ideal candidates may be majored in computer science, electronic engineering, biomedical engineering, applied mathematics, or statistics. Expected are solid mathematical/ statistical background, strong image processing, pattern recognition and programming skills, adequate knowledge about ultrasound imaging principle, and keen desire of carrying out first-class research.
