Ph.D. student positions on global governance at Stockholm University

Three fully-funded Ph.D. student positions on global governance at Stockholm University The Department of Political Science, Stockholm University, invites applications for three Ph.D. student positions, oriented toward research on global governance. Starting date: September 1, 2009.

Deadline for applications: February 14, 2009. Successful applicants will follow the general doctoral program at the department, and write their dissertations within the research project "The Design of International Institutions: Legitimacy, Effectiveness, and Distribution in Global Governance," financed by the European Research Council and directed by Associate Professor Jonas Tallberg. The project will last for the period 2009 to 2013 and be conducted within an internationally
composed group of both junior and senior researchers.

The positions are fully funded for a period of four years. Ph.D. students receive a
gross monthly salary of approximately SEK 20 000 ($ 2 500, - 2 000), including full social benefits, and are not required to pay any tuition. More information about the project can be found at www.statsvet. su.se/research/ dii.htm
