CfA: Vitan-Botoulas-Robinson Scholarship for Romanian MBAs at Columbia Business School

In order to be considered for this scholarship, a candidate must be born in Romania from Romanian parents and must have completed at least part of his/her undergraduate education in Romania. Only students currently registered in the full-time MBA program at Columbia Business School are eligible. The maximum amount to be awarded in any school year is $2,500, attributable to only one student. Prior recipients are not eligible for a new scholarship.

To apply for the scholarship, eligible students must submit their resume, proof of their undergraduate studies in Romania together with an essay of no less than 1000 words. All documents must be submitted by email to tromani08(at) gsb.columbia. edu no earlier than September 15 and the essay must detail the candidate's interpretation of the following statement: "What is life if not a collection of great dreams, one more achievable than the other?". The essay should emphasize how the candidate sees this statement projected into his/her own future. Full confidentiality is guaranteed. Should more than one student apply in any given school year, the candidate applying first will be given priority. A decision will generally be rendered within 2 weeks from submission and the recipient's name will be announced on this webpage. The payment will be submitted to the school or the student within 4 months from submission.
