2006 International Conference "XX century political thought - lessons
for Bulgaria"

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Conference will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria at the University of National and World Economy. The participants are wellcome to participate in the following themes:
1. The grand dichotomy of the XX century "left and right" and its development in Bulgaria
2. Politics and economy (politics and market) in the Bulgarian democracy trasition
3. Lessons from the XX century political thought for the modernization of contemporary Bulgaria
4. How the Bulgarian democracy is practicable (possible)in the global era?
Call for Participants
Applications are welcome from policy-makers, journalists, diplomats, businesspersons and members of parliament etc.

Deadline for applications: 01 October 2006
Selected candidates will be notified till the 6 of October and they will receive an official invitation. The selected papers will be presented during the conference and will be published.
The organisers will cover the seminar participation fee.
