DCU Migration and Law Reform 2 year MLL studentship


Mr. Phillip Lynch – One Fifty One has established an award at Dublin City University (DCU), leading to the award of an LLM (Master of Laws) through research. The purpose of this research will be to examine the role of Employment Equality legislation’s impact on race discrimination in the workplace. The project will seek to develop
new policies in the area of migrant workers and to achieve a successful embedding of the law, in terms of routine social practice.

Applicants should hold a high-class undergraduate degree in any social science or cognate discipline. Preference will be given to those with a Masters level qualification. Experience in the equality area is desirable. The scholarship will be held for two years and is expected to lead to the award of a Masters of Law from the School of Law and Government. The scholarship shall consist of a maintenance grant of E12,500 per annum, together with the payment of University fees. Interested applicants should complete the application form available at
