ERA provides a range of scholarships to enable lawyers, judges,
prosecutors and officials from the new and future EU member states in Central and Eastern Europe to attend seminars organised by ERA in Trier. The scholarship programme was named after Peter Caesar, the late Chairman of the Executive Board of the Academy's Foundation and former Minister of Justice of Rhineland-Palatinat e. Depending on the applicant's financial situation and subject to funds being available, the scholarship will cover all or part of the cost of travel,

Peter Caesar scholarships offer selected lawyers from the new and
future member states of the European Union the opportunity to widen their skills and knowledge by participating in an ERA seminar.
