INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL:
BECOMING A CHANGE AGENT

Zagreb , Croatia
June 24 July 14 2007

Description: Becoming a Change Agent (BCA) is a three week long intense, fully experimental, and team-based immersion course. The course puts students in the position of NGO organizers seeking to resolve critical social problems or senior corporate social responsibility (CSR) officers to analyze and engage the economic,
political, and social environment in which their firm operates. In small teams, students initiate and develop projects that intend to create positive change in society. This course will take you through this process step-by-step from issue identification to practicing (and holding!) a live press conference.

The program will gather around 40 university students from different cultural backgrounds (Croatia, USA, Balkans and EU countries). The teaching team will be a mix of Rutgers University (USA) professors and Croatian and American trainers. It is possible to receive 5 ETCS credits for accomplishing the BCA course.

The participation fee covers all costs during three weeks (accommodation in the student dorm, meals, teaching materials, public transportation in Zagreb, weekend excursions and museum entrance fees).

Application deadline is May 31, 2007.
